FULL POWER ON ANY TRANSMISSION
The factory transmission control units (TCU) include software limiters that restrict engine power when torque limits are exceeded from tuning. For GTI models with locked TCUs, our calibration team has custom-coded the engine control unit (ECU) programming to properly manage torque signals to and from the transmission. This advanced strategy safely enables full horsepower and torque, even without a TCU tune.
Stage 1 & 2 low torque files are included for manual transmissions w/stock clutch.
STAGE 1
UP TO 457 HP & 460 FT-LBS TORQUE
The iE Stage 1 ECU tune delivers an easy 46% more horsepower and 56% more torque on stock hardware. This simple flash-only upgrade overhauls your engine computer with massive power gains, increased rev limit, enthusiast drive mapping, snappy throttle response, and increased boost pressures. UP TO 462 HP & 460 FT-LBS TORQUE
Ready for the next step? Jump to Stage 2 by upgrading your intake and intercooler to unlock more power. This tune retains all Stage 1 features while taking full advantage of increased airflow, lower intake air temps, and faster heat recovery to deliver 147 HP and 165ft-lbs over stock. Exhaust lovers will love the added overrun/crackle feature.

E85 READY
Unlock the power of ethanol! Stage 1 & 2 supports E60-E85 ethanol blends that produce the highest power output due to running cooler and have a higher knock resistance than 91/93 pump gas.
EXHAUST OVERRUN
Stage 2 files add an aggressive exhaust ovverrun/crackle in sport or R modes when you let off the throttle, downshift, or decel from higher RPM. This feature is also available when free-revving in neutral or park. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Exhaust overrun is included with Stage 2 tuning.
REV FREE
A raised engine speed limiter of 7000 RPM gives you more power at higher RPMs. Free-rev your engine in park or neutral with the limiter increased to 6750 RPM.
BRAKE BOOST
Brake Boost gives you a rolling launch. While giving throttle input, use your left foot on the brake to build boost while maintaining your desired speed. When ready, let off the brake for a surge of power and boosted take-off for the competitive edge in a roll racing scenario.
RESCALED POWER GAUGES
Get accurate readings with rescaled factory boost, power, and torque gauges that match your new performance output. Weve also smoothed out the gauge animation for more precise and refined display readings.

VARIABLE LAUNCH CONTROL
Get ready for explosive launches with iEs variable launch control. Choose between three launch RPM settings to dial in the perfect balance of grip and power for your vehicles setup. Each setting includes two RPM settings engaged by the throttle position:
- Apply 100% throttle inputwithoutengaging the kickdown switch to launch from the minimal chosen RPM.
- Engage full pedal pressure whileactivatingthe kickdown switch to launch with additional RPMs, delivering the most aggressive launch.
